Entirely different, the behaviour introduced by display: table is the behaviour we&#039;ve been needing for a long time now and has no affect on semantic value. The only mistake I see is in naming the display mode &quot;table&quot; (and cell, row etc), this is clearly causes confusion amongst web developers. 

I have already been using display: table for a few sites and love it (not the full layout mind you, just parts of).
