Again, just speculation, and probably a reach. This business is certainly unpredictable, if nothing else.

And I agree, in some respects, with a recurring notion in this commentary that template makers are a “lesser” entity than a designer who creates an entire front end for a proper CMS. That’s a pretty pointless argument. Yet, at the same time, the community making templates for any CMS are working within even MORE restrictions than the moon languages involved in custom solutions. They deserve at least that respect.

And Destry, please elaborate. You’re touching on points that I would like to learn more about, but you’re not making a whole lot of sense.

Another reason I didn’t know I was featuring a Wordpress template at the time is that I was never into Wordpress at all. Saw it once, and moved on to Moveabletype and pMachine.
