You’re probably right about the number of comments, er, number. Also, I’m considering putting one color in there, to strengthen the headlines in listings, and darkening them on post pages. I’ll also add whitespace to the sidebar, and rethink positioning a bit, as I mentioned in the post.

Looks quite good, man. A bit subtraction-esque but the design is quite unique anyway. A better version than the current, simple one. I agree with klucznik though, darker article headings would be great.

I have never loved the design (as we have discussed here a lot), but I think it will work better then what you have now. I have to agree that the comments number does not have any context and newbies might be confused by it.

Ok I really like it, header, footer, sidebar (aren’t side bars dead?) post quotes and all.

here’s the rub…the number of comments just seems too big and seems to mean nothing unless you already know what the huge number after the post title is.
