I knew the subject of my blog was a ‘right one’ :)

Although learning is a habit for me, I sometimes tend to think I don’t know (or haven’t learned) enough yet, in a negative way; perfectionism, uncertainty, who knows. At the moment I’m happy with it, but this can be(come) a problem as well.

Great post, I strongly back the need to be constantly learning more and more. For the past year I’ve been in that “I know enough to do what I need to” funk in which I just didn’t care to learn anything new. Luckily a friend volunteered me for a freelance project a month ago and since then I’ve been inspired to redesign my website and start doing a lot more freelance “fun” work to help test my limited knowledge of CSS.

Thanks for the SourceForge link, never would’ve thought of that as a source (no pun intended) to find work!

Wise words. I’ve fallen victim to an aging ‘knowledge portfolio’ on a few occasions, and it can lead to major self esteem issues.

If you can’t get involved with something like a SourceForge project, find something, anything at all, to experiment with, no matter how small.

You’d be suprised how much the satisfaction of creating something – even for your own personal enjoyment – helps break you out of the funk.

Like the new design. The text measure seems a bit too long, however.
Good points in the above. No matter what, its important to stay busy. Sometimes great things come out of our “lull” moments.
