Oliver, that looks like a very good metaphor. I’m not unnecessarily glorifying Twitter, but I’ve seen all these things that struck me as inspiring and innovative, turning a service into more than what it was originally meant for. Now that takes work!

But I have to say, there are several “relatively useful” uses for Twitter, it depends on who is using, talking, and listening. But if you don’t value socializing and communication that much, then it might not be as apparent.

Hey cp!

Just want to retweet the german blogger Cem Basman who lately compared twitter with a simple smile. There is no need for it. And there is definitely no use for it. But it makes our daily life so much better!

I really can not tell you why I twitter, but I love it! ;)

I have a twitter account, but do not get it and I’m not really that interested in it. I tried to like it, but it wasn’t for me. Occasionally get the odd email telling me someone is following me, which gets me all paranoid! (but secretly excited?)
