It’s important for both improvement and credibility to ‘eat your own dog food.’ Some of the improvements made to WORKetc would not have been made if it weren’t for the team using the system internally. It adds value to ‘practicing what you preach’ and Barnett himself stated because it’s used on a daily basis by the WORKetc team, there is added insight into important changes that need to take place.

I run a blog alongside my portfolio but although my programming skills are on the rise I’ve not yet implemented a client portal. I guess that’s a step in the right direction – such as posting preliminary designs and sketches in a specific client section whereby access is password restricted.
