Three Online Communication Tools You Should Be Using

The internet can do a lot of great things for your life and for your business. It allows you the ability to reach more people in more places, without even leaving your home or your office. Because of this genius creation, you can communicate better with current and future clients, it’s just a matter of making sure that you’re communicating with them through the proper channels.

You’ll reach different people from different outlets. Conference calling is something you’ll use with other business professionals, while something like Skype or Hangouts may be more suited to individuals (and are great for virtual interviews). You’ll also reach different people through different social media sites.

Group And Conference Calling

Use your computer to call people. It’s definitely a thing if you didn’t know that already. It’s about more than just using Skype. There are companies that specialize in conference calling for professionals, there are VoIP companies you can get complete business phone services through, or you can make phone calls through Facebook chat.

The days of landline phones are long gone. With internet based phones and calling services, businesses and individuals can stay in touch even when they aren’t at the office.

Email

Are people still emailing? Businesses are, even if individuals are more geared toward texting and instant message. There are so many things you can do via email, from conversation to sending coupons and newsletters.

You can send emails from your computer or your smartphone. With smartphones, it has become so easy to stay in touch with people anytime anywhere. Download the right app on your phone and you’ll never be left out of the loop or waiting until you get to the office to check your work emails.

Social Media

Don’t discount social media as a way to communicate with clients. While you may feel like Facebook messenger is a place for teenagers to keep in touch or for college students to stay in touch with their families, it can be a great asset to businesses.

The thing about Facebook and other social media is that it allows customers to see your business in a different light. They feel like you are more an individual and will be more likely to reach out with questions. It’s more personal, and you may hear more from customers that normally wouldn’t reach out because of long-distance calling or just not liking calling places.

You need to be in contact with your clients and with businesses that you work with. The more ways you can be in contact the better. The more you’re staying in contact the more your clients and customers will feel like they are special, which will make them keep working with you.
